The international vision of YWAM is “To know God and make Him known,” and this is done primarily through teaching, evangelism, and compassion ministry.
Rustenburg, which means ‘town of rest’, was founded in 1851 and its location in the northern part of South Africa is near to the nations of Mozambique, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Namibia.
Rustenburg is most commonly known for it’s platinum mines, which are the largest producers of platinum in the world and is situated only 45 minutes from the majestic Pilanesberg National Game Park, which boasts the Big Five.
